The British territory of Anguilla is a collection of one large and a number of small islands in the eastern Caribbean. There are some great beaches here, from the long expanses along Rendezvous Bay that look across the sea to Saint Martin to cozy stretches like Little Bay that are reachable only by water. It is then no wonder that Anguilla has been attracting more and more tourists over the years.

The only place to play the game in Anguilla used to be an old pitch-and-putt layout, but now there is a fine 18-hole course by Greg Norman at CuisinArt (formerly Tenemos) Golf Club on the aforementioned Rendezvous Bay. Norman's design takes full advantage of the sea and the beach and breezes, and makes for a classic Caribbean golf getaway. And there will soon be another championship course at Jumeirah Anguilla Resort, whose Dubai-based owners have brought in no less a designer than Jack Nicklaus to create one of his Signature Courses right on the sea. Before long, any player who passes through the Caribbean will want to stop on Anguilla.
