Golf Courses in Aruba

Just off Venezuela's coast is the small, Dutch-controlled island of Aruba, known for its perfect tropical climate and beaches of tawny sand. The prevailing winds prevent the weather from getting too hot, and cause the native divi-divi trees to bend to the southwest. Aruba is a real melange of cultures, where the 100,000 or so inhabitants speak the native Papiamento language alongside Spanish, English and of course Dutch, and are most welcoming to visitors.

There are a pair of 9-hole layouts here, The Links at Divi Aruba and Aruba Golf Club, which are fine in their own right, but the real golf attraction is Tierra del Sol, located in the island's far north. This full-sized par 71 course was created by Robert Trent Jones II to make the most of the stunning surroundings. Small wonder that so many people, golfers and non-golfers alike, flock to Aruba's sunny shores.
